Write the living pages. Plan it snapshots them into an epic spec you can still edit. Import to the backlog or the icebox. Then the queue is the product again.

There is no separate Current panel. In Progress and Ready for Review sit in the backlog. Completed is the accepted pile.

The objections, in your words

I’ve tried agent workflows. They hallucinate scope.

That is what happens when the agent invents the work. Beck only lets it finish stories that already have acceptance criteria. You reject with comments and it iterates on the same story.

Is this just another board with AI slop?

Those boards are a human UI. Beck is a prioritized queue the agent can actually work. If you do not need an agent in the queue, the backlog still works. The AI is optional. The list is the point.

Will my team actually use another tool?

Start on Free, alone. If the loop is real, invite seats. If it is not, you have not paid.

What agents work with Beck?

Anything that speaks MCP (Cursor, Grok Bot, Claude Code, and others) or HTTP. The server is npx @becklabs/beck-mcp-server. REST lives under https://beck.bot/api/v1 with a beck_ token.

Do I need my own AI keys?

No. Free includes 50 credits. You can add Anthropic or OpenAI keys on any plan, including Free, and skip Beck credits entirely.

Can I use Beck without agents?

Yes. Documents, Plan it, the backlog, icebox, and review work for humans. Agents are a first-class worker in the same queue, not a requirement.

Is GitHub a real integration?

You can paste a branch name and PR URL onto an epic. There is no GitHub App, OAuth, or repo sync.
