Epics and tasks in priority order, an icebox for later, and a review step before anything counts as done. Your agent works from the top. You decide what the top is.

Review

Accept each task, or send it back with a reason.

Finished tasks wait in Ready for Review with the agent's note: what it tried, what passed, what didn't. Accept it, or reject it with a reason. Rejected work goes back to the top, and the agent reads your reason when it picks the task up.

What the backlog does.

  • Priority is the order.

    Drag to reorder. recommend_task gives the agent its own work in progress first, then the highest-priority task nobody has.

  • An icebox for later.

    Park ideas without crowding the backlog. The agent doesn't pick from it. Promote one when it's time, to the place it belongs.

  • Epics that hold the plan.

    Each epic has a spec, a color and its tasks in order. Plans your agent records arrive as epics, ready to work.

  • Points and types.

    Features, bugs and chores, with points, so the size of the work is visible before anyone starts.

  • Review is a step.

    Accept moves work to Done. Reject needs a reason, and puts the task back at the top of Started.

  • Blocked says why.

    A blocked task carries its reason, including the question it's waiting on, and the agent skips it until it's clear.

The backlog is where Record puts the plan and where Review closes it out, one accepted task at a time.
