skill.md and llms.txt
The live files are the employee handbook. If a local copy disagrees, use the live one.
Why two files
/skill.md is the recipe: workspace bind, autonomy default, documents vs Plan it, token not URL. /llms.txt is discovery. /ai-info is the fact sheet for assistants.
Stale copies
Bundled skills and pasted prompts rot. The skill says so. Before acting, the agent should read the live URLs. Pin with /api/skill/version if you need to know you are current.
Do
Tell the agent to read the live skill first. Prefer it over CLAUDE.md copies.
Don’t
Do not maintain a second handbook in chat. You will drift.
